Golf Tournament

DSAGC Annual Golf Tournament in Memory of Nicholas G. Kwiatkowski

In July of 2004, the DSAGC lost one of its angels Nicholas G. Kwiatkowski. In celebration of his life, and the lives of all children with Ds, a portion of the proceeds from this golf tournament will go to the DSAGC’s Camp programs.

Camp Horizon is an annual overnight summer camping program. Launched in 2004, Camp Horizon offers a camp experience for children with Down syndrome in the greater Charlotte area, ages 10-17. This exciting program offers a special and safe place where campers can share common experiences, discover new abilities, develop friendships and enjoy the beauty of nature — all in a beautiful camp setting!

Camp Holiday is a summer day camp for 5-21 yr olds is staffed by degreed professionals in the fields of Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Music Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Children age 15 and up will be considered for a Counselor-in-Training program unique to this camp. Camp is located at Sardis Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.

Through your participation in our golf tournament, the DSAGC is able to offer these camps and plan for more to come!
